	As a new member of the Video Journalism Program, you'll start out as a VJ1. That gets you access to support from your peers and the VJ community boards plus our team of assignment desk editors. You can choose from any of our numerous level one assignments.
	Once you've had your fill of level one assignments, you can apply to become a VJ2. Level two assignments are tougher - and therefore, paid. As a VJ2 you'll get to use our media accreditation to get behind the scenes and exclusive access to all kinds of cool people, concerts and events.
	You've made it! A VJ3 is the top dog of the IAM Network. To get there you've had to prove to the world that you've got the skills and experience to handle the toughest and most high profile assignments. As a VJ3 you have first crack at high profile IAM Network level assignments like the Nobel Prize Awards plus the chance to produce segments for our nationally broadcast weekly television program TVIAM.

Sponsored Gigs are pretty much just what they sound like; an opportunity to do what you love and be paid for it. Sound Good? Read on. This section of the Assignment Desk is where you can find paying video production opportunities sponsored by leading-edge clients. Gigs range from paid video journalism assignments to commissions for branded video content. We also throw in user generated ad competitions and viral video contests sponsored by local, regional and national companies. Some of the winning videos even end up on our national TV show TVIAM, and distributed widely over the internet.

The first one is our version of truth or dare with big rewards if you dare and its true, and the second is all about being in the right place at the right time.


Bounty Assignments are open to anyone, whether you're a member of the IAM Video Journalism Program or not.
